Flew back from Brussels last night on the Brussels Airlines late flight. There was a player onboard - who didn't play for us, but escorted with a man in a suit, but I won't say who exactly... He was busy using the "professional footballer" line on the Cabin Crew.

Fucking hell I just flicked over to Sky Sports News and Dave Bassett is embarrassingly out of touch. He said Maicon is finished as a top player based on one game where Bale outplayed him, neglecting to think that last season he was outstanding. Then proceeded to said that Pablo Hernandez could be a gem, but knows nothing about him.
