There was much more than 500 protesting at Villa Park.Unless they are all hiding in the pictures and telly stuff I have seen so far then 500 is about right, certainly not the thousands you alone (on here) are claiming. There was more than 500. Do you think the Villa staff counted them one-by-one?Here's a little bit of advice, don't believe everything the media tells you...

I guessed about 500 from that, can live with there being about the same again away from the cameras. But "thousands"?
I would say there was about 1,000 - maybe more... I don't really know what time the peak time when most turned up. I was actually quite surprised that many turned out after laughing when there was only about 20 who turned up at 5pm.I probably did exaggerate at the time but i'm sure there was more than 500 just from what a couple who I know attended.
Quote from: madirishvillain on June 15, 2011, 11:23:46 PMso how many were protesting? There were about 12 or 13 blokes, three boys, a woman and a cat, but there was some very clever use of mirrors going on.

It's simply that he's not exactly any good. But I am sure there are loads of 'not any good' managers out there, who if they were in the frame would not provoke this much negative reaction.I wanted a world class manager;I would happily have accepted an excellent manager; The least I thought we'd get is a good manager;I would have been disappointed if we appointed a fair manager;and unhappy with a poor manager.Birmingham City's manager has spent a fortune compared to his typical relegation rivals but has produced turgid football and been relegated twice. I don't think he even makes that bottom category. I can't stand this.I find myself repeatedly agreeing with you.I'm going to the doctor to get some mental pills or something, this can't be right.

McLeish must feel at home already as he's used to small crowds claiming to be bigger than they actually are.
