Protest?
« on: June 14, 2011, 08:44:11 PM »
I have just received a text off a mate saying that one of the forums have arranged a protest in the North Stand car park at 6pm tomorrow? Is there any truth in this?

I don't know as I have no interest in protesting.

I am taking this like a man. Grudged acceptance whilst drinking copious amounts of alcohol and playing through my entire music collection.

I hope not. Adrian Durham will have his cock out waiting in anticipation for something like this to happen. Despite complete hostility this is the decision the board have made. lets show some respect and pride, we have been dragged through the media wringer enough already.....

fuck me this is embarrassing. Are the protesters going to don pitch forks, piss on the McGregor statue and burn effigies of Randy and Paul? You lot are giving the likes of Talksport all the ammo they need to make us look like total idiots.

Nobody said you had to be happy with the appointment. The media will spin this so that all Villa fans will be seen as part of the protest as opposed to a few clowns.

A protest is small time, but I can understand the reasons why it is being done. Randy Lerner, Paul Faulkner and General Krulak clearly don't have a clue as to the strength of our feelings. It would be great to have 10,000 people there.

Board only have themselves to blame. Don't blame the fans. The board have approached several managers and have been turned down and in desperation are selling a man who relegated Blues twice as the best candidate.

If they went after him from day one it wouldn't be as bad but the whole thing has been a mess that is ending like a car crash.

About as much truth as those posting, thinking they can see into the future with the banal rantings of doom and gloom.

Well said.  This hyper-indignation is a fucking embarrassment.
