7 mins late in 3rd quarter, 17-14 up
come on boys!

My eagles STINK this year..

Dreadful...

You are a Titans fan?!?!?!?!

Come on...

I have never met a Titans fan in my life, and the first I am hearing of one is the season they go 9-0?!?!?!

What are the odds...

look back on this thread, been on about them all season
i can understand that. mainly cos dad went over there on business when i was kid, went to a game, got me a programme, gotta start somewhere!
great second half from us today, thought the record had gone but collins really pulled it out of the bad, winning it in the air for 2 weeks running. few would have called that
my mates a big eagles fan, you guys had a poor game today, lucky not to lose

As for the Titans though...

I would LOVE to see them run the table, but I don't know.  The AFC is pretty weak this year, so if anyone is capable, it is this year.  I am shocked how good the titans are (as I am sure everyone is), but of all the AFC teams, the only ones I like are the Dolphins, and I have a soft spot for the titans (mostly for V Young though), and the Jaguars (because of Gerrard).

Eihter way, the AFC is weak enough that if it is going to happen in my life time, I think the Titans are the team to catch the Dolphins record.

we've got a decent run in, can see the giants stoppin their second unbeaten team in a row in the superbowl though.
yep, gotta love young, but we're doing it without him!

the eagles tie might as well be a lose, since it isn't a win and no one EVER ties in the NFL.  I think our playoff hopes are gone.

As for the Titans, I am still not sold on them as an undefeated team.  Would like to see it, but don't think it's gonna happen.  I am actually shocked they are undefeated right now.

They haven't played a good team except the packers, but the only good team they are gonna play this year for the reamainder, the (new and improved) Colts and the Steelers, are both REALLY up and down...

I don't think there is a single AFC team that would have a winning record in the NFC.  Sure there are some that would be OK in the NFC, but none of the AFC teams, in my opinion would be over 500 in the NFC

I reckon the Titans would. You don't go 10-0 without being a decent team. The first few games were comfortable but in recent weeks both coming from behind today(14-3 and doing nothing on offense) and beating the packers in overtime shows theyve got the mental strength and team spirit to be a decent team, as well as performances on the field, Hainesworth has been immense defensively. Chris Johnson has done excellently for a rookie, and Collins has done all you can ask of your 2nd choice QB. You can only beat whats put in front of you, and theyve done it thus far.
In the NFC however pre season picks like the cowboys have been very inconsistant as have the eagles who are strong on paper (I love McNabb) but have gotta win games like today

You are right about the cowboys being a flop and the eagles with all the talent they have need to beat the bengals, but the AFC is just so weak.

If the Titans were an NFC team, they surely wouldn't be 10-0.  The only decent NFC team they played was the Packers, who are decent, but hardly as good as the Giants or Redskins, and that game took them to OT.

We will see I guess, and like I said, I would love for them to go undefeated, but I just don't buy into any AFC team.

I still can't see the Titans having a 16-0 record at the end of the season, they'll rest players and get beaten I think.

Thank God for the Villa result as the Bears didn't exactly cover themselves in glory.

I agree with this.

Once they make the playoffs, they will rest players so as not to injure them in the final 2 or 3 pointless games at the end.

This team, I don't think, is good enough to win those games with depth players, and I don't think they are dumb enough to play starters when the depth players aren't on the same level as the starters...

Again, would love to see it happen though...

nobody besides the 72 Dolphins hold that record in any regard anyway.

It was a shorter season back then.

I like the Dolphins, and they are my AFC team I root for, but I could care less about this record.

I am REALLY glad the Patriots didn't break it though...

I wouldn't mind anyone esle breaking it though.

Actually, there are a few teams I HATE...
this years Jets with Favre, Last years Pats, the Giants, The Cowboys, and the Steelers as long as Ben is there.

I used to like the guy, but I heard he goes to eat and doesn't tip the waitress and says "I ate here... that should be tip enough", and the interviews I have read of his made me dislike him...

Does anyone know any Detroit Lions fans? That must be hell. Every year they're dreadful, you'd think with good draft picks every year they should have been better by now.

No, actually I don't...

Football is weird in that a LOT of people don't root for the home market team, and since everyone loves football and not everyone has a home team you meet a lot of random fans.

I live in CT and we don't have a team, and so I meet TONS AND TONS of different fans...

But never met a Lions fan...

There are all sorts of rumors that they are going to leave Detroit, and they will probably end the year with the #1 draft pick.
