Excellent article in the NY Times this past Sunday on the NFL's parity problem. Going into Sunday's matches, there were 13 clubs at 6-5 or 5-6:

Everytime a team is top of that division with a winnable game, they seem to lose.

I was at the game today - and what a comeback it was !! 

Steelers defense was like two different teams either side of half time.
