I'm guessing this has been posted before but from Wikipedia:

While in his home city in August 2020, Lindelöf witnessed the robbery of a 90-year-old woman by a man on a bike; Lindelöf chased the thief on foot and managed to catch him, holding him until the police arrived. The police later thanked Lindelöf for his "quick and wise intervention".

Footballer by day, crimefighter by night.

More concrete than Concrete Ron*.

*Who would have injured himself mid pursuit.

Are you not worried Lindelof will want more regular football and look for a move this July?

No, we will be in 4 competitions next season and there will be loads of games. He is not getting any younger and should get his fair share of games. Current contract up to June 2027.

Copied this from internet:

'Victor Lindelof signed a 2 year, $12,480,000 contract with the Aston Villa F.C., including an average annual salary of $6,240,000. In 2025, Lindelof will earn a base salary of $6,240,000, while carrying a cap hit of $6,240,000. Source: EPL contract specifics generally collected from verified reports. '

By my calculation he is on about GBP120,000 a week. Unlikely to get that anywhere else.

He supposedly chose to join us over Everton and Fiorentina.

Whether that was driven by salary, prestige, vibes or anything else, I wouldn't have thought anything has dramatically changed for him since he made that choice.

I would like to see him play more often, I am a bit surprised we haven’t used the Konsa at RB option.

I went of record suggesting he play in a holding midfield role when we were struggling a few weeks ago, that might've freed Onana up when he was struggling as well but overall I think for a player of his quality, he's been underused.

He's on 22 appearances right now and likely to end the season on 25+. I doubt he'll be particularly upset about that or will have expected significantly more.

And while they haven't been flawless, neither Konsa nor Pau have done anything wrong enough that Lindelof should have taken their place for an extended period of time.

Agreed. He's now 3rd choice above Mings.

Definitely - especially as he can play either side
