In a world of Jan Bednerek, Clement Lenglet and Axel Disasi, he has been by far the best.  To the point where I would trust him to start any game.

I liked Disasi as centre half, he's no right back though. He's doing a fine service at West Ham, and good luck to him as his parent club have treated him like shit.

Another fan - thought he should have started v ManU with a point to prove.

Deserves to be a regular over Konsa on current form.

He's done well for us when he's played.

Premier League clean sheets since he moved, Chelsea zero, West Ham four.

Yep, I thought he was fine at CB.

Not sure how many games Disasi played for us at CB. He was horrendous in that debacle at Palace and from memory not great at CB at home to Forest too. Awful at Villa Park a few weeks ago too. Good for him that he's doing well at West Ham but that low block Nuno stuff is miles removed from what Emery is looking for.

Lindelof looks transformed from the defender that likes of Watkins used routinely bully. He's stronger in the tackle and air now. Better at passing and bringing the ball out than Konsa. Senses danger too, covered up at least one error from Torres at Forest. Outstanding v Lille too.

For the record, I liked Disasi too.  But Lindelof is better in my opinion.

I think a bit of it is to do with the circumstances that led to him joining us - when all our centre-backs were injured, and we were playing Bogarde and Kamara there.

So he came in and for a couple of matches looked like an actual centre-back. Then we started getting our proper ones back and he had his problematic RB appearances (although he was very good there against Brentford I recall).

If we do extend his contract it should be on condition that he retains his dashing cavalier look.

they're certainly not in the calibre of other short term stop gaps like Colin Calderwood or Carl Tiler.

Are you not worried Lindelof will want more regular football and look for a move this July?

I'm guessing this has been posted before but from Wikipedia:

While in his home city in August 2020, Lindelöf witnessed the robbery of a 90-year-old woman by a man on a bike; Lindelöf chased the thief on foot and managed to catch him, holding him until the police arrived. The police later thanked Lindelöf for his "quick and wise intervention".

Footballer by day, crimefighter by night.
