Has there ever been a more underwelming signing who turned out this classy?

I guess Morgan Rogers is the obvious. Or John McGinn.

McGinn was where we were and Rogers punt for future/possible decent mark up.

Lindelof not much emthusiasm.

Bloody excellent today. I wish either him or Torres would dye or shave their hair, though.

Proves the club can get it right sometimes. What a shrewd signing he has been.

A truly excellent signing. Who'd have thought that.

Has been a brilliant signing. Experience and just keeps things pretty simple . Top quality and invaluable to this squad.

Big ice pack on his leg after he came off.

he was a fantastic pick in defensive midfield last night - more mobile and energetic than I thought he would be - a real warrior in there.
A great option for when Kamara is injured.

A huge ovation when he came off - at least that’s how it looked on tv. Fully deserved.

Was surprised when he went off, played very well.

He was fucked, in the 3-4 minutes before he went off every break in play he was bent over with his hands on his knees trying desperately to get a second wind.

Yeah, he's a centre half playing centre mid. You don't have to be anywhere near as fit.

Instantly felt 10x more confident when I saw him in instead of Bogarde (he did okay when he came on tbf). Being able to play like that, in a game of that magnitude, in a position he has barely played over the last 5/10 years...wow.
