It’s likely Emi is off this summer, James Trafford could do with a club where he gets a starting spot. He seems a very competent keeper.
I like Trafford and he has years at the top in front of him.
But financially would there be any advantage of selling Martinez and buying Trafford?

I think quite a few will be in for him.

Well Emi is our top earner at the latter stages of his career. We’d probably only get £20-25M for him. Trafford might cost a little more than that and have a decade in front of him. And conceivably the future England keeper after Pickford.

Wouldn't surprise me one iota if L'pool come in with a massive bid for Konsa.  >:(

Their defensive frailty is glaring.

I'm glad the BBC are televising the Chelsea v Port Vale tie. It should be a less one-sided game.

Ryan Cherki putting on Ekitike’s shirt while sat on the Man City bench as the game is going on. Fucking moron.

There should be a saving on wages and that appears to be our biggest issue right now. Man City might even allow a loan for a season to defer the costs.  The two keepers we were linked with last summer haven’t done great at Barcelona or PSG so they could be available.  The difficulty will be finding someone to take on Emi’s £200k wages.

If Emi cut his wages and restructured his contract as some players have in recent years then I’d be happy to keep him a little longer. Unai even made a comment recently about Emi being highly focused again. We still need to find a long term replacement at some point but we have a lot of other pressing issues elsewhere.

After what we did with Elliot, I doubt many teams will be into loaning any player to us that we "promise to buy".

Looking on TV there seemed to be a lot of empty seats, especially with one section completely sealed off behind the goal, unless it's my eye sight

I think they would only be worried about that if we imposed conditions.

Absolute bottle job from Freiburg, reminds me of seemingly every Villa vs Man U match for about twenty-five years.

Two-nil up against Bayern, conceded on 81, 90+2 and 90+9.

Good, Freiburg are in the Europa so we want them under confident and in shit form.
