I'd prefer a Citeh win. They're better equipped to stop Arsenal's quadruple treble bid.

Could have done with Liverpool winning for us, they need to be involved in as many games as possible, sadly now it looks almost certain that is not gonna hapen.
If anything I’d rather Liverpool lose and end the season with absolutely fuck all except the ignominy of qualifying for the UEFA conference

The day after we relegated them The Observer – then a broadsheet, had a full page photo of the back of Juan Pablo in front of The Holte, arms aloft, surname across his shirt and facing the crowd. The headline was “Angel of Death”

Just more proof of the anti-Villa media bias when they'd compare our centre-forward to a notorious Nazi.

Liverpool with little confidence and questions over the manager for the rest of the season suits us better than glorious morale-boosting victory at Man City, I reckon. In any case, the FA Cup doesn't really mean significant "extra games". If they win it just means our match against them will be midweek rather than weekend so effects us as much as them.

Pretty sure the Observer are big Slayer fans.

So sad seeing that Liverpool are 3-0 down. I really hope they don't concede a lot more.

You have to feel for them.

4-0 Man City.  they look good.  Liverpool less so.

Alonso will be at Anfield by the start of the season. Potentially a good fit but will need £200m to reshape the squad.

Trafford saving Salah’s pen is a solid cherry on top of the cake for Man City
