My t.shirt has come and it's marvellous (and also now nearly sold out). I hope they bring out a white version with claret stripes.

I do think the white shoulder stripes are wrong. There’s four colours on that thing.

The stripes had to be claret, or the same colour as the piping and the cuff motif.

Claret would be better, but the shirt's very similar to this year's as it is.  I like the cuffs.

It's a good claretty claret.  Whatever else they fanny around with I hope that would be ring fenced.  The blue is (still) a bit pale for my exacting tastes but I suppose it has to match the badge?

But still, take my money Villa! (maybe, much later, when it's cheap, and we've won summat)

Well we are meant to wear sky blue. The blue was getting darker and darker since the 80s and is far too dark on the 150th anniversary painting they commissioned.

How's the fit compared to last season's home shirt?

Mine is too big for me and I wish I’d ordered a size lower but there’s no stock left so I’ll hold on to this one and wear it baggy!

Cheers, I'm normally a Medium in Adidas t-shirts as I find the Large too baggy. The home shirt in Large was a perfect fit though. Looks like I'll stick with Medium for this one.

It's not the kit shirt I bought, it's the t-shirt that came out a few days ago. I didn't have last season's home shirt so I can't judge but I've had a medium and it's fine.

from  a distance it wil look claret and blue (  sleeves )  especially on TV . Id prefer claret stripes of course but those cuffs are dreadful.

Yea that’s the one I bought too. I should have just ordered the correct size rather than trying to be clever. Still will be good to wear in flights etc.

Went down the shop today and as good as it looks, a Villa fan with money to spend shouldn’t be leaving empty handed. Tried on the new tshirt…good fit but just can’t bring myself to wear anything with that massive crap shield. I couldn’t find any casual wear that I’d wear, and there weren’t any claret shorts or swimwear that I could wear for my holiday. They really should have a better range available in the shop to suit all tastes and occasions, but they still don’t.

This is precisely why they get professionals to do it.

Exactly, pay the professionals to design a home shirt that is 99.9999999% the same as the one it's replacing and under no circumstances pay a professional to actually design something different because that'd be a complete was of money, keep spending money on people who only know how to use the copy and paste buttons on their design software

Fake but I would have that as 3rd shirt.

You can buy that on foootballbiz , a dodgy fake shirt site (3 o's!) . Go a size up if you want one.

It looks like a Telford Schools shirt, circa 1991 (alumnus: Ealing, S. Shirt no. 8. Doesn’t talk about it.)

I could be talked into it.

It intrigues me how and why people make kit mock-ups. Are they hoping for a job in the kit manufacturing industry, is it a hobby? Who are these people? Haven’t we got our own on this site? I can’t remember seeing their posts lately of their mock-ups.

That's a garish mess. I assume it's a mock-up or fake.
