This is actually dead easy. I looked at all the instructions and thought oh can't be bothered with this, but having gone into the App, looked at tickets, seen both mine and my lads season ticket for Newcastle game in there, clicked add to wallet and job jobbed in 10 seconds.

(Which is ancient in phone tech terms).Up until today, the phone had done everything I need it to, including getting into Villa Park. I like the smaller size and I didn't see the need to fork out on a new one. I'd rather not have a smart phone altogether if possible because I think they are like mental crack cocaine. Now 3 days before the season starts, I find out I need to buy a new one to use the season ticket I bought for nearly a grand.

It doesn't need to be an iPhone but something running whatever version of Google OS that works with the Villa App as you normally have more choice and the handsets are generally cheaper. But if wanting Apple, and assuming you are talking about the older smaller size one, the SE Second generation runs IOS16, and is as physically small as the older iPhones in size, although the screen is bigger due to no borders around it.However in the long run it isn't just Villa Park which wants newer phones but modern life in general. Payment, travel tickets, concert tickets, even Proof of ID will be using smart phones more and more.
