Seems like the controls levers are being raised to the roof by the club.

I think the Premier League are driving this approach across all clubs and have a deadline. It isn’t just us.

Yes, I did read somewhere a while back that it was something that was agreed across all clubs.

Maybe so , all clubs aligned on tighter control of fans and what they do with their tickets . All about ££££ really .

As I said earlier the giveaway is the information button in the ticket which comes up with ground rules for Old Trafford

I see the Villa App has updated and you need IOS 16 or above so it's not enough to have a smart phone - you now can't have an old smart phone.

Has anyone received print at home tickets?

I applied for season cards for myself and my wife and told if we were accepted we would receive print at home tickets for Newcastle and new season card would arrive before Palace game, heard nothing else but received print at home tickets yesterday so just wondering if everyone has received print at home tickets or just those that may have been accepted for physical cards.

My dad applied and received the same email but like you, no mention of the season card.

I'm at a wedding on Saturday, so have forwarded my ticket to a friend. It took me a while to get my head around it, but now I've got it sorted, I thought it might be helpful to write down how I did it:

1. Whoever you are giving your ticket to needs to be on your Friends & Family list. If they're not there already, you can add them like this:
a) Sign into the AVFC app
b) Go the the tickets section, click the profile option in the top right (a silhouette), then 'Edit Profile', then 'Ticketing', then your initials in the top right, and then you should see a 'Friends & Family' option. From there you can click add - you'll need a Fan ID and postcode/surname for the person you are adding. [this is way too many clicks to get to this section of the app, but it's the only way I know how to do it]

2. Head to the Home screen again, and hit 'Tickets' at the bottom. You should see the Newcastle game there (if it has been sent out).

3. From there you should see the 'Forward Ticket' option. This wasn't there when I looked yesterday, but it was this morning. All I had to do then was select the person from my list that I wanted to forward it to. I've since had a message from my mate to say he's received it.

It's actually a much easier process than last season - but only once it's all set up, and once again, the lack of communication from the club is pretty amateur in all honesty. This has taken me five minutes to write, and could save them an awful lot of time fielding questions from people (let alone provide customers with a much better service, which is admittedly not something they tend to think about).

So now we can’t just add our season ticket to the wallet on your phone for the whole season we’ve got to add each game individually bit of a pain having to remember to do that before each match. .

When I loaded mine into my wallet it shows the Newcastle ticket but if you scroll across the ST is there too.

Edit - scrap that I'm being thick, it’s last seasons ticket.

I see the Villa App has updated and you need IOS 16 or above so it's not enough to have a smart phone - you now can't have a very old smart phone.

Fixed it for you being as IOS 16 is supported on 8 year old devices. (Which is ancient in phone tech terms).
