As someone else said, with that knock today we might allocate some of the Duran money (I’m fairly certain he’ll be gone between now and the summer) to sign a genuine first rate centre half.

We might get Foyth as well. But that will be more a squad option as much as anything.

Mings came in and hit the ground running in Jan 2019.

When we were in a far more precarious position than we are now.

So it is possible.

Let’s hope the new guy does the same.

Well if Foyth hits the ground it will probably put him out for half a season.

May the Foyth be with us.

I thought we'd run out of players Unai has previously worked with?

Lots of talk at the moment about how good Bournemouth’s business has been. Brentford and Brighton have been good in the market for many years. And more recently Notts Forest have done well.

How good has our transfer policy actually been under the Monchi?

Aston Villa are exploring a loan move for Axel Disasi.

We obviously need a CB, or two depending on how Mings is, but we'd switched off long before he went off today. Having Carlos or not having Carlos is irrelevant to how badly we played for all bar 15 minutes of that game.

While we're at it, Mings has cost us 6 points in the CL. So it's not like he's the be all and end all of our defence(or whole team) as some people would like to have us believe.

He’s not the be all and end all - I’ve been vocal on that point. But him going off and Digne going to centre back really stuffed us today. We lost our heads and composure entirely after that.

Clubs know we're desperate now, for loans we'll end up paying 100% wages for their reserves. What a load of Horlix.

Letting Carlos go without his replacement being signed was idiotic.

Tough one mate. The momey was good but i expected  we had someone  lined  up. Bit crazy to let him go without a replacement  in

It’s not that tough. It’s just pretty poor.
