Yeah i am realising that.

Anyway back on subject

Hoping for one permanent  and a loan come January that wont break bank but as ive said previously we dont do big business in January  so i think thats probably best we can go for.

The carew and young window was probably  my favourite January window

Monchi was interviewed on Amazon before the game against Leipzig and he said they were working on things for January but did say it's normally difficult.

Could Emery get a tune out of Marcus Rashford?

I wouldn't want to pay 300k a week to chance it, and I wouldn't pick him ahead of Watkins or Durán.

Maybe, but his wage and cost would be a non-starter. I'm not his biggest fan as a player, he's been off it for a while.

Hugely depends on how he reacts to being given the boot from Man Utd. He seemed a very level headed guy a couple of years ago. If it serves as a wakeup call, I'm sure Emery could work his magic. For the money involved though, not sure it's a risk we need to be taking.

Edit - will be interesting to see if they can actually shift him. They've been offloading Maguire for several windows now.

Not many would be meeting his 400k wages. Even if he "magnanimously" decided he would take a 50% cut, he would still probably be our highest wages. (and most other teams one as well.)

I’d take Garnacho off their hands.

I wouldn't.

He can get fucked, with his stupid Bond villain face.

Oh yeah, don’t get me wrong, he looks like a weasel that you’d repeatedly want to punch in the face but he’s a good player, in a position that we need.
Have a word Big Emi.

We need more players that opposition fans hate, we’ve only got Emi and he’s gone off the boil in that regard lately.

We need a bit of width, I'd like to see us make a move for Brown Fox, the large breasted red Indian* winger at Fulchester United.

There is a compilation of Grealish on twitter. What I'd give for a player like him in our forward line right now. Insane how much he's declined.

Monchi needs to find a 20 year old version.

Nah, we need blistering pace. Grealish is at his best when you build a team around him, which is fine when you're batting relegation or mid-table, not when you're aiming for the top four. That's why he doesn't play for Man City much, and when he does, it's in a completely different role to that he carried out at Villa.
