He can be a big, big player for us and I do rate him. Unai could make hi very special.
The biggest issue is that he has never been able to manage more than 6 games or so before the next injury.

Only missed 8 games with Everton in the two seasons he was with them it looks like. Already at 36 games missed in the 1.5 seasons with us. Something seriously wrong.

That’s astonishing. I’m so completely fed up with Onana injuries that I haven’t paid attention as to what the injuries are. Is it always a hamstring issue? If it is and it’s the same leg then yes, something is seriously wrong.

Transfermarkt is the source for it. It does suggest hamstring injuries primarily with us. I guess Everton didnt have european football to increase the frequency of games which explain the difference.

Not that it really makes too much of a difference but you are including games missed for Belgium in those figures. I suppose you could replace them with games he was on the bench and didn't appear after coming back from injury.
