Of all the meetings there have been between Ireland and England during the years I don't think there has ever been a bigger gap between the two sides in terms of quality as there is now. Ireland are truly rubbish.

I presume the black armbands England are wearing are for Sven-Goran Eriksson. Is that right?

Carsley needs to bring himself on for England to get the next goal.

This Carsley is no Southgate and if he not careful lacking the pragmatics will struggle at senior international level if given job as he's really only a youth coach. Being this tracksuit manager and wanting to join in seems wants to make up for not having a top playing career.
I'm wondering why Carsley already trying to shoe horn players in by having Grealish as a 10.
Gordon is obviously ahead of him on the left and really if you want a 10 that's Eze.

Grealish of course can play that role and Carsley must be looking for him to be chief creator today however JG has been a winger for a long time now so why is Carsley selecting someone not in their club positions clearly trying to upstage Southgate. And he's also starting Maguire!
Making you look a bit silly now.

England should piss this given they were embarrassingly relegated.

Have we gone back in time and are playing Wimbledon in 1989?

Surely that was just stage 1 of our world-domination plan? I heard the FA have bought a contaminated wasteland to build a 60k stadium on for stage 2.

It's pretty embarrassing that, unlike Scotland and France, England are so bad they're in the same league as hod carriers like Ireland.
