Yep - just spoke to sales on the phone and it completely sold out yesterday at the 3 match+ member level.

Thanks for confirming this, I’d been to 2 CL games, but knew this one was gonna be even harder to get a ticket for, so will have to settle to watching it on tv

Yeah me too, though just gonna be grateful that I did get to them, to experience CL at Villa Park was something I never thought would happen. Even if today’s category had been 2 CL games we’d have still missed out so gonna look at it like that

The £1,600 package is for Category 1 seats which aren't part of the away end.

Think about it- if you're a hospitality ticket holder paying that much do you want to spend an hour queuing up to have an intimate examination by a French copper before being imprisoned under legally dubious grounds for an hour or so in the stadium after the match (which you've viewed through a net)? Or do you want a nice seat next to Prince William and Ian Taylor with a good view of the match?

Something odd has happened with the PSG away tickets but it's nothing to do with the hospitality day trip.

It's actually not a totally outrageous price.  For me to go, currently I'm looking at about £700 - £300 Eurostar, £300 ticket from PSG resale and £100 hotel (unless I sleep on daughter's sofa) so £900 for the bells and whistles and the risk of not being rumbled as a Villa fan.  But I think I'd rather spend it on a proper holiday, as much as I'm desperate to see the Villa abroad in the CL.

I agree- I've seen the details of full package and it specifically includes the club's flight from the private terminal at BHX and a night in their hotel. I'd post it here if I knew how to!

What I think is interesting is the club aren't running their normal Sportsbreaks Day trip, which is what you'd assume 500 or so tix were held back for. That's usually 'only' about £500.

I know Lions clubs have got an allocation for this one- I wonder if this is where they've gone?

I note that you can’t access the PSG secondary ticket site now. Saying no access for me even with a French VPN on

Why? That day trip involves category 1 tickets, which are a completely separate section and have been for every UEFA match we've played. It also involves flying on the club's flight, so unless we're hiring an A380 to bring the team from BHX to CDG, it seems unlikely.
