PSG would be a interesting  one as we have never played them. Would love to see how we did against them

I've zero interest in playing PSG (nothing to do with thinking they'd beat us). The whole club comes across as unpleasant.

Same, I don't like them.

However, narrative would demand that we would beat them with a late Asensio winner.

Oh, well that would be peachy!

If its Bruges I'd assume ticket collection again as per group game. However if its Dortmund does anyone know if its likely to be e-ticket or ticket collection?

Think I may have mentioned this on here before at some point, but I've spent less than two hours in Paris and still had a bizarre experience.

I was on my way back from Germany via train and was having a cigarette outside Gare du Nord, when a roadsweeper/litter-picker came over and said something in French (at which I'm hopeless) but gesturing for a cigarette. So I offered him one from the pack, which I had purchased while still in Germany.

He looked down at the pack, said "allemande?!" (sp) smacked the pack out of my hand and spat at my feet, before walking off, muttering to himself.

(Sorry for the quote fail.)

I thought London  was dirty, but Paris  was even worse. I found the people rude and unhelpful too.

It doesnt suprise me your experience though

Yeah, very limited experience of course, but I found Paris much like London - massive and full of miserable bastards - but with the added disadvantage that everything was in French.

Outside of Paris, however, I found every French person I encountered to be very friendly and thoroughly charming.

Edit: same with the Germans, who were incredibly polite. So patient with my feeble attempts to speak German, before knowing the exact moment to say that they spoke English, if I'd prefer.

Apart from one police officer in Karlsruhe. He was a condescending twat - but that's my direct experience of English police as well, so y'know.

I've been to Paris a few times for work and our office there is near Gar du Nord and it is fucking awful. Doesn't surprise me that you bumped into an arsehole by there.

He seemed so friendly at first though, Paul. Looked like Ainsley Harriott.

But as soon as he saw those German cigarettes, gott im himmel!

I think Paris, London, Birmingham, anywhere, it could be a measure of your expectations if you find them miserable bastards.

Everywhere I go, I find great people.

I'd say there's definitely a uniquely capital-city kind of miserable bastard, though.

I thought I was a miserable bastard until I first went to London.
