I live here and love it. But at 57 I still haven’t grown up and moved to the burbs!

My Grandad was born and grew up in Lewisham, by the way, so not just aimlessly slagging off Londoners.

I think I'd be happy to make it to the QF, to be honest. Not being a pessimist or anything, but anything beyond that would be a bonus.

Without wishing to ruin this train of thought with the financials but I’d imagine we only budgeted for the group games maybe a play off. R16 is already above and beyond and as a fan I thought R16 was a pipe dream back in the summer.

Bollocks*, we're in it to win it.

Is it likely? No. But we lost to Bradford over a two-leg SF with Swansea to face in the final, so going the easy route hasn't exactly worked for us either.

*not saying your opinions are bollocks

All European games of any level are fantastic; we visit new places, they visit Birmingham.

Win, Lose, or Draw, it goes beyond the football.

If its Bruges I'd assume ticket collection again as per group game. However if its Dortmund does anyone know if its likely to be e-ticket or ticket collection?

If it’s collection is should be fun as the allocation is over 4,000.

I agree, and I think the fact that 'Big Six' (thooo) clubs have regularly been in Europa League over recent seasons shows that, if we're genuine about being a serious club long-term, we shouldn't see it as 'do or die', 'CL or nothing every season or our best players will leave' like it's still 2008.

Quite. As we've seen, our best players leave even if we do qualify for the Champions League...

I've found our player turnover since Unai came in really quite odd.

I feel like he's sold more of his own signings than ones he inherited. Do the stats back that up, anyone?

I've just crunched the numbers and the answer is quite possibly.

The pre-season friendly was an e-ticket that I printed at home and then scanned the QR code but you had to buy that via Dortmund's website so it may be different for a CL game.

He just needs to lick his finger a bit more, and then hold it a bit higher in the breeze for a more accurate reading.
