We had a discussion in the pub yesterday as to whether Blamcmange belonged in trifle.

Although, in general, trifle belongs in the bin.

1950s style "it's all we've got, we're still under rationing" rubbish.

Like beef dripping or lard.

Hang on. You'd put beef dripping in the bin?

I refuse to believe that's what you meant, because perfect fish and chips can only be made with beef dripping.

Just looking on ticket maestro for CL tickets. You can get up to five tickets per household for the Juventus and Celtic games. While we might be baulking at the prices Celtic fans won't care for a one off game. This has the potential to be very tasty in the stands if the club aren't careful.

Interesting, I'd go Goose Fat but I'm prepared to be persuaded.

You have to buy goose fat though. I just scrape up the fat if I cook a joint of beef and use it for the roast potatoes the following week.

I'd go dripping over goose fat anyway. Goose fat makes them crispier, but dripping gives a much better flavour.

I don't like roast potatoes but I use bat jism and hydrocortisone cream when I do them.
