So 23 man A squad, as expected. Interesting to see Mings and Kamara in there. I'm sure we can name a new squad for the knockout stages, so we must be expecting them to both feature sooner rather than later. (Or we don't even have 23 players to name)

I'm guessing we named everyone we could, so we named Mings and Kamara as we may as well otherwise the spots would be empty, even if they are both a while away from playing.

If you opted in to the cup ticket scheme (which I did without dreaming they would be eye-wateringly expensive) how do you receive your ticket? Are they added to your digital season ticket?

I phoned this morning (only took 1 hour at 5th attempt of not being cut off) and was told payment would be taken today which it was before midday and told eticket would be emailed later today.  Not received anything yet. Knowing the expertise of the ticketing system I am concerned that if I have not received the email by deadline on Monday, Mr Heck will sell my ticket again even though I have paid for it !

Thanks. No e-mail for me yet either.

Edit: I've asked question of AVFC Support on Twitter who usually quite good at responding.

So the club have given ST holders a whole weekend to mull over the implications of a huge hit to the bank account. Buy the tickets or fuck off.

such a massive shame that the achievement and genuine excitment on being in the CL and the draw has been tarnished for fans and so very publicly.

When you get your email there’s the usual button to add it to your Wallet.

Not on mine there isn’t, just a payment confirmation

I'm the same. Those Ipswich peasants have sent paper tickets too. Skint rats.

Just all so sad.  The experience of going to Villa Park with our Mom and remembering our Dad and members of this parish we've lost, genuinely feels tarnished and in terms of the Champions League games I was really looking forward to, I'll be at 2 max instead of the 4 I wanted.

The disabled parking thing is even worse of course in truth, there should be no less complaining about that.

I do though want to say a thank you to Lee Preece for responses today, to the complaint email on ticket prices I got in last night.  We were in the Champions League Cup scheme ( Feels naive now to have ticked that box! But you know 150th anniversary, some new history being made and I wanted to support that, I'm a supporter. Just not one that matters to the clubs senior management any more).  Anyhow we're now not in the scheme and have some choice back and I appreciate the help to get that ( As others have said, it's worth trying not to have a go at the folk whose job it is to deal with the fall out from this PR disaster).

Final thought for tonight and if this offends I can frankly live with it, I think there should be a scientific term for any so called football supporter who tells fellow supporters priced out of matches, that is just the way it is, support your club or get out.  That term should be " Pricks" , personally when I sing " Villa till I die" I actually mean it as much if not more than when I was a starry eyed 14 year old at the European  Cup Final ( I mean just being " Abroad" was bloody amazing in my world back then) I'll not be taking any lectures on my support based on what isn't in my bank account ta very much.

In terms of Disabled supporters parking issue, never have I been so glad to be out of date.  Well done Villa you can do it! ( The world can change a lot in the time it takes this old fart to type!).
