Could see Celtic fans picking up the general sale tickets.

Also non-villa fans going to Bayern and Juve games. Good chance these games will sell out regardless

If villa fans dont want to pay 100% the home ends will be full of celtic fans thats when there will be trouble
How are they going to buy tickets in the home end without a client ref etc

Yeah the way the others have answered.  They could just buy a cheap cup game ticket or be a member so they can get a ticket

Booking history for high profile matches always requires purchases before the current season, although this is 2024 Villa so who knows. And I can't see Celtic fans buying a bunch of tickets at £50+ on the off chance they can buy one when we play them.

The ones who don't live in Scotland/Glasgow would be harder for the system to spot but if there's a massive influx of tickets being bought in home ends from people with Glasgow postcodes etc and the club don't spot that or aren't bothered I'd be hugely surprised.

My Celtic supporting boss in Glasgow was on the phone to me yesterday, sniffing out the GA+ options at Villa Park to see if him and his mates can get in.

I know one Celtic fan, shortbread on his face, and I've seen him at games at Villa Park with his mates as a neutral.

They exist! They're among us!  :o

When has there ever been a successful boycott? Clubs know that the emotive nature of our support will always override this hence they take the piss. The only "boycott" is the one enforced by cost and that day is not far away. But those missing will just be replaced. By how many and how often is the risk the club is taking.

Liverpool did one a few years back directed at the ownership. Was an organised walkout on the Kop and I think there was a u turn on whatever price rises were imminent.

Probably already been mentioned but anyone know the prices Newcastle were charging for PSG and AC Milan last season?

Yes I know who owns them but would be interested how significantly they bumped up the prices from what they charge for prem games.

Just frisk people as they come in to VP, the Celtic fans will be the ones with a bottle of Buckie.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see another 4 game package launched imminently with a bit more knocked off the cost.

Plenty living in the Midlands who can call on local contacts.

The only game that might not sell out will be Bologna and even then it probably will given the insane demand for the other three games and so that becomes the game to say you watched Villa play live in the CL.

Walkouts can work, I was talking out and out boycotts.

There is a partial walkout on 80 minutes at every home game....

Without trying too hard I can think of 6/7 Midlands based Celtic fans with VP booking history that would be able to get tickets in the home ends. It will sell out comfortably.

I am a bit taken aback by the bad press this has attracted. When was the last time the club had such negative publicity?

The closest was the £ signs at Ellis, but nothing like this I can remember.
