Not sure if it has already been mentioned but I’ve just seen one of the members of the Fan Advisory Board has just resigned their position. Can H&V follow suit?

Should be up to individuals, no point pressuring folks.

But it is sad to see what a shambles off the pitch has been over the past year or so. One thing we always had, in good or bad times, was class.

Wouldn’t want to pressure anyone into making a decision, but doing this is numbers is what is going to make the difference. The club clearly doesn’t take into the considerations and recommendations of the FAB, it seems like it’s there just to tick a box.

I'd like to take my nephew to his 1st ever game,  but with the likely hood of only getting 2 seats together being the most expensive at £97 (for child means I won't be . Absolutely disgusting prices for an under 18.

1 potential fan & one 40+ yrs as a regular potentially lost fan.

Nobody running the club (and I include the owners) care about where the club is in decades from now. It is nothing but a business proposition to them. What matters most is the financial return that can be made in the short term (the financial year) and over the next five years. The likelihood is none of them will be here a decade from now.
Just remember whenever any of them talk about the heritage and history of our great club, it is purely bullshit marketing strategy to enhance the brand and increase revenue.
I know Doug was a twat and did very nicely financially out of the club, but he went to all the games (including junior games) and had in his own way an emotional involvement with the club.

Every time the Villa draw me back in they push me way twice as far. I always felt I was lucky not caring much about football generally but loving just going to VP and rocking up to be in the Holte. School holiday trips to just visit the ground. Taking my lad, introducing youngsters over the years. Going to Highbury for the semi-final replay with no money to get in and being helped out by my fellow Villans. Now in my 60's I have never felt so far away from my Villa. Just sad.

I guess we’ll never know - but surely this has to be driven in part at least by FFP - we need to generate revenue so we can stay competitive at this level and not have to sell our best players - like we did this season. 

FFP removes the option for short term investment for long term gain.  Every 25 on a ticket price adds 1m a match. 

It’s horrid and alienating - but the system is literally in place to make this happen.  The other clubs don’t have to exploit there fans as there revenue streams are big enough to not need to do this - combined with probably more price sensitivity from fans

IF we've bombed out by the time the Celtic game comes around and neither side has a chance of progressing - even to the play-off stage, then Villa will have a Heck of a job to sell tickets at £97- £85 for a meaningless game for a mid-week game in January.

Obviously I hope that's not the case.
