I'm not sure I like us being lower case. Not a fan of the yellow dot for the "i", either.

It was the early 90s man, there were no rules

Furthermore, no one cared and there were no forums like this to engage with others if you did.

And they call it progress.

We didn't. Windows 95 ushered that in.

I've mentioned it before but the first thing I ever did on the internet was find a football messageboard and abuse Man Utd fans, that would've been around 1996.

I remember being at Uni in 1997, and doing an Ask Jeeves (there was no Google then) search for Aston Villa, and there was no official website.
Think it was at least another year or so until there was one.

I was more of a Webcrawler man, personally. After I'd weened myself off AOL, that is.

I’ve read we won’t know the fixture dates until the 31st. I was going to watch the draw with my finger hovering above flight apps but looks like it’ll be a few days after.

That's correct.  They take a couple of days to make sure that Inter and AC Milan don't play in the same city on the same day for example.  Hopefully the announcement won't clash with the Leicester game.

I’ll send my lad outside to book them if it does.
Lots of organising to do as you said and the first set of fixtures could be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

I had dial up on Windows 3.11 but it was much more of a faff than in 95 and there was so little out there.

I thought the first thing most blokes did when logging on to the internet for the first time was to look for "specialist" sites involving German ladies and watersports. Or was that just me.

I still remember my first ever online search. It was 'tits'. I'm not proud of that, but I'm not as ashamed as I ought to be.
