Moreno if  homesick must return to Spain for his family and what he's comfortable with it's no use him going to Forest or anywhere he's not comfortable.
He's missed a lot of football so needs games I hope he gets a move that suits him as have a lot of time for Moreno.

Left back is also a key attacking position for us.

We should learn from the pointless Donk loan move in Jan. A few weeks later Kamara picked up a season ending one and we were shagged cover-wise.

If it's a loan (and even that might benefit us with wanky FFP restrictions) we should leave it until late in the window before we commit.  Any of our left backs get banjaxed after that point not a whole lot we can do anyroad. 

But moving one on earlier than necessary may be a self inflicted wound.

It's a shame with Moreno, he just never looked the same after returning from injury and Digne has been very consistent. If one of the seniors is to go it's Moreno for me but there's little point for him or us in a loan.

If it opens up some room in the wage bill it's worth it given that's the only thing that matters in the European cost controls. Aside from that we're limited in squad numbers, 3 left backs when iling-junior can be an emergency cover there is a poor user of places.

Maatsen is the upgrade for Moreno. I think him and Digne as options gives you more flexibility.

Maatsen is 9 years younger than Moreno so that’s the biggest reason to consider it an ‘upgrade’. Moreno has to be one of the most talented players that we’ve deemed ‘surplus to requirements’ ever, surely.
