The Archer money should be enough to get the Slovenian Jaka Bijol from Udinese. 6ft2 right sided centre back

He's half the player and coming off the back of an ACL injury. Duran has a much higher ceiling.

Perhaps - but emi and mings have both suffered ACL injuries are we down playing what they can offer?

I reckon tammy will be cheap and it may be possible we can get him on loan with pption to buy.

As for duran he dont want to be here so get rid when a decent offer comes in

Emery on Diaby's exit: "A very good offer & he said he wants to accept it. We opened the door because when a player gives this message, we won't refuse him to go.

"His adaptation 1st year was good - not fantastic - but enough to play. I thought he could develop more (this year)"

Chelsea manager confirming they're wanting Chilwell to move on. Probably too old for them at 27

Interesting sounds like diaby wanted the move nore than us forcing him to go

Have to question his motivation as a player at his age. Its baffling

I genuinely think he found this league, country and Unai's tactics too difficult to adapt to. Going over there if you're Muslim is a massive attraction too.

He's been rumbled. The manager saw him practice and asked if he was really a footballer and not some bloke from a pub team.

Tuscans - have edited your post to be a bit more respectful.

Diaby appeared to be a man very devoted to his faith which may he potentially wanted to explore as part of the motivation for going, but I think he may have seen the writing on the wall with Rogers, Ramsey and Buendia being available this season and his game time diminishing. It's a shame because if he kicked on the way Bailey did, he'd be brilliant.

So now Felix is going to Chelsea (and this on loan somewhere else next summer!) who do we reckon we might go for as a 10?

Felix was never coming here. There are a number of reasons why that is the case (wages, club status compared to the likes of Chelsea, transfer fee) and Monchi and the team will have been working on realistic targets. A section of our fan base kept bringing Felix up for some reason but I'm pretty sure the club won't have been considering him as viable option.

By all reliable accounts we absolutely wanted him and tried to make it happen though they knew it was unlikely. So, you're talking total uninformed tosh.

Yeah, the 'for some reason' wasn't fans just plucking his name from thin air.

He would never have chosen to come here whether we wanted him or not. As can be seen by the fact he ISN'T here if you believe the reports we tried to get him.

I don't believe I saw one reliable report that we made a bid. Not one.
