Bloody Hell, just when I thought I understood the rules, another one appears!

You can't amortise over 5 years (or however long) if you're disposing of the asset in the same year!

This feels like the time I played "Go Johnny Go Go Go Go".

I don’t know how to play that!

I’ve just read that Tottenham still want to sign Ramsey and are prepared to offer two players in part exchange. Apart from the fact I’d want to keep Ramsey, because he’s one of us, I would want Tottenham to part with a player they don’t want to lose, rather than some of the shit that’s been touted. Gil, Reguilon or Hojberg et al can fuck right off.

They don't have 2 players I would take for JJ. People forget how bloody good he was in the first 6 months of Unai. Him and Rogers get going they will be unplayable.

A decent loan signing, a shocking permanent one. Probably the best part of £30m for 1 goal.

Mocking us, clearly. "Ooh look at me, I play for a club that doesn't have to pass one training top around all the new signings"

I don't want us to sell Ramsey but if Emery and Monchi have a price, it had better be high, it has to be all cash and we have to someone who's outstanding in mind to replace him.

I'd imagine the only 2 reasons we'd sell him are getting an offer so ridiculously high we'd be stupid saying no, or we suspect something about his long term fitness.

Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that we’re stocking up the left-wing position ready to sell one of them next summer, just like the signing of Tielemans was the first step to replace Dougie.

Yes and on that price point, the alleged offer from Spurs is utterly laughable.

Romano

🚨🟣🔵 Aston Villa have activated the matching rights clause for Jaden Philogene after Ipswich Town bid.

If Hull City receive higher bids from elsewhere, Aston Villa must decide whether to stay in the process.

↪️ Ipswich Town keep insisting, same for Crystal Palace and Everton.

Surely we’d only match bids, if we’d had a chat with Jaden and he’s said he wants to come back. It’s not like we haven’t got his number
