Weston McKennie could be ‘replaced by someone else’ in Aston Villa deal

Juventus could abandon the plan to include Weston McKennie in the deal for Douglas Luiz with Aston Villa and have the American ‘replaced by someone else’.

That’s according to journalist Luca Marchetti, relayed by Bianconera News, who reports that McKennie remains the main blockage in the swap deal between the two clubs.

Fingers crossed

After watching this, we must sign him now. That’s impressive.

Is the first guy asking him what needs to change for  the second game, and he says score goals. Specifically.

That's quite funny in itself. (Unless my basic French is even more basic than I thought.)

That's a brilliant clip. I also think he's got such huge potential, would be a brilliant signing. Don't think we'll get anywhere near him.

Someone beat you to it.

Change made at 2108 last night.

Edit: I assumed he had been in the UK for years but apparently the first time was when he moved to Everton the other year. So was his English teacher at school a cockney version of BE? And does that mean Perpignon sound like a suburb of Brum whenever they speak English?

They probably get Eastenders in Belgium, so maybe that's how he learnt English. Hopefully, Unai won't have to tell him, "Get out of my club!"

Top Boy is London too, isn't it? Was hugely popular on Netflix globally.

Only if they're taught by Bad English.

I fail to believe everything including salary was not agreed weeks ago.

It's not salary, it's celery. He's dead against it.

Excuse my ignorance but I’m totally out of touch with this as well as our accounts.  If we don’t sell Doug or Durán by the end of the month will we start next season with a points deduction?

With apologies if this has been covered previously and my lack of attention.

Romano tweeted an hour ago that there were more talks today but still no movement.

I don't know when we need to sell by but I'd imagine we wouldn't have much bother shifting Dougie somewhere else if we had to. Not sure Juventus will have as good a player offered to them again this summer.
