Oh no, we might have to settle for Chiesa or Locatelli, what a pity.

I've been banging on that we should sign Chiesa and Locatelli. I'd be amazed, mind.

Anyone else in the squad we’d want?

Personally I’d prefer £40m cash and Junior but suspect Juve don’t have that sort of money.

I fail to believe everything including salary was not agreed weeks ago.

Likewise.

Yildiz who was just playing for Turkey? Rabiot as well but if we want him he's currently out of contract.

Juve putting pressure on a player because the cheating bastards are skint rats and won't pay him.

Yes it sounds a bit like the sort of thing Barcelona have been doing over the last couple of years. Not able to accept their reduced standing and looking for shortcuts.

Sounds to me that Juve and Chelsea are trying to spook Villa with the deadline, probably meaning they will want us to pick up the tab on McKennie. No doubt a half way house will be reach as the deadline nears, likewise for Duran, although Gallagher clearly not wanting to come to us is at play there.

McKennie and Onana would seem to me two very good options to cover McGinn and Kamara, while generally boosting our options. They're also meeting the big lads criteria. Beats Tim and Donk.

I think the Luiz replacement will be a sexy £60m Spaniard.

With my optimist hat on, some of the fire sales might be so we can squeeze the Onana purchase into this year’s figures.

Presumably Everton need to sell by the 30th so if we can do sufficient accounting by selling Tim, Luiz and Duran then it might mean we can take advantage of Everton’s need to sell.

Not convinced that’d be a great strategy. If we miss the deadline we’ll have to take the punishment, but we could probably raise the fee we’re expecting for those two.
