Yeah, I'd be all for it, especially if it means we're less likely to need to sell someone like Luiz.

Players I’d sell quickest in declining order

Coutinho
Dendonker
Chambers
Olsen
Carlos
Hause
Archer
Tim
KKH
Cash
Duran
Digne
Moreno

Erm… don’t want to sell anyone else but the end of that list is…

Watkins
Martinez

Sky Sport Italia claim that Milan director Geoffrey Moncada is in London for talks with Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash and Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Moncada flew to England today and held meetings with two Premier League clubs.

I don’t mind selling Cash but not sure he’d raise a whole lot.

I don't mind selling Cash but wouldn't that leave us with no RBs? Presumably we'd replace Cash, but that would still leave us with just the one RB.

Unless we're calling Konsa a RB now.

Milan were close to signing Cash in the winter before we did, IIRC.

So you might be surprised.

We signed him for £18 million and he hasn't exactly regressed since 2020. I'd hope for more, but with all the FFP fuckeries we have to contend with circa £25 million might do it.

£16m on a 5 year deal, so £25m would add £21.8m of profit.

Cash would have a value of about £3.2m on the books.

I prefer Konsa at right back, with an actual beast at RCH instead if Carlos who looks like a beast but isn’t. If we’re gonna keep faith with Torres and his brilliant playing out from the back (as we should IMO) we need someone next to him who can help us defend set-pieces better. Konsa isn’t that man IMO.

I think we’ll have decent money to spend after June 30th, and at the moment we’re just in a bit of financial limbo,

Cash for Cash would make sense.

I don't want to be relying on an eighteen year old and I don't like playing Konsa at right back. Torres and Carlos are both much better with his pace alongside them in the middle. If Cash goes we need to sign two right backs, IMO, even if one is just on loan until Nedeljkovic is ready.

Absolutely, but we’ve not seen how fit he’ll be, or how him and Torres will play as pair. Could be we try him or Pau in that withdrawn wide defender role that Ezri plays, but I’d like an upgrade on Carlos regardless.

What about Kosta Nedeljkovic?

I'd forgotten about him to be honest.
