Thanks Mr Ealing, I presume it helps our situation then and makes me wonder if this is in fact true in terms of the swap.

Just for clarity, I struggle to identify my posterior from my cubitus so don't take my input as the last word on the issue.

You know more about it than I do, including your cubitus.

I wonder if Emery will try for Morgan Gibbs-White? He mentioned him a few times in a press confernece before we played them at home.

Hopefully, yes to MGW. Anything to piss-off the Dogheads! Even better if we could get Pedro Neto!

Surely we’re good for right-wingers?

I can only think of Ads, Risso and Hookey. I think we have space for a Rees-Mogg.

The main problem with that 'we give you Duran, you give us him, then we ammortise this and you do that and home grown and this plus that' etc is that we end up with Conor Gallagher.

I wouldn't be against Ross Barkley on a free. I'd back Emery to get the best out of any player eventually.

He's been absolutely brilliant every time I've seen him this season.

It would be odd to secure CL football and make Ross Barkley one of our first signings.

I'm not sure the player himself enjoyed it all that much towards the end of his time with us either.

Might be one of those players suited to being a big fish in a small pond.

If Unai, Monchi and co think he can do it in our way being demanding, then what can we say?

Didn't see either of the Villa games then?

Id be really surprised if we had spent so much money on getting in Monchi and then signed obvious and overpriced English players like Gallagher
