They're both excellent players, but Eze is the one you're more likely to see doing the risky 1v1, and Olise more likely to be playing the incisive pass.  That's not to say they can't both DO both of those, just my impression that Olise is more likely to fit into our system given Eze is a more direct replacement for someone like Bailey.  They're both capable of playing for top 4 sides though, and will go for big money.  I don't see us getting either, unfortunately.

I thibk eze is more a replacement for ramsey than bailey tbh smithy

Both Eze and Olise have parts to their play that remind me of Zaha, somebody we know Unai was a massive fan of. Of the two I'd go for Olise, but if we were being greedy, I'd try to flog Diaby to a Saudi team and bring in Eze as well.

Isn’t Olise similar to say Bailey whereas Eze is the equivalent of Tilemans and can play a number of positions.

Yep, Olise would play on the right (where Bailey plays) and Eze would be in the 'number 10' position where Diaby mainly plays.

I think we already covered on left footed players like Bailey and Diaby who like cutting in from the right. It's the reason I always thought the Zaniolo signing was a mistake as we had enough similar players. Olise is a fine player but think we have other priorities.

Eze is very similar to Grealish and would be levels above a fully fit Buendia or even Tielemans. Don't see us having that sort of budget or pull in the transfer market this summer unfortunately.

I went to the Palace game this week. Any of that front three would grace our team. Superb.

Over the last four or five years there have been a few players bought from the Championship who've done exceptionally well, and shown they can play at the very top level. Obviously Eze and Olise, Bowen at West Ham, our own Ollie and Rogers. Gyökeres went to Portugal and is now coveted by a few Prem sides.

There is some serious talent in that league if you can pick it out from the dross.  I'm all for Monchi using his little black book to unearth some lesser-known gems, but hopefully he's having a good look closer to home, too.

Yep, the trick to the championship is avoiding the likes of Gayle, Grabban, etc.

The Blackburn striker has banged in a load of goals. Not seen him play, just know of his record.

He’s decent. But lower prem level at best I think.

Joselu ,  Choupo-Moting,  back up champions league strikers last night.
As well as inevitable players to advance our team there would be some call to have a experienced striker with the role as back up like a back up goal keeper.

Also when see likes of Hummels performing then players into 30s who ate quality can't be dismissed at least.

Imagine if Villa signed Kroos or Reus. I like to think they would show up better than Casemiro but I even think under Emery Casemiro would perform far better than he does at Man Utd.

Signing a lower league striker is tricky. For every Ollie Watkins there's a Cameron Jerome. I think ultimately you have to be sure there's more to their game than goals, while also hoping they don't exchange their goalscoring prowess for being a generic forward. I tend to side with William Goldman when it comes to signings: nobody knows anything.

United broke the golden rule when signing Casemiro...no Brazilians over 30.

Yep he’s not the level we should be looking at.

That Szmodics isn't really a striker, he's more of an attacking midfielder/second striker. He's also 29 this year, and has had one good season, ie this one. If we're looking for anybody from the Championship I'd rather go for Summerville at Leeds.
