Ramsey is going to be linked with everyone now because of FFP stuff. Same with Gallagher at Chelsea. Selling a home grown player for a decent chunk of cash is nearly more beneficial to a club now than selling someone they bought for much more money.

Ramsey's value won't be great right now but with FFP/PSR changing in a year's time, would it make sense to sell someone like Ramsey, or in Chelsea's case, Gallagher. Although Chelsea are a law onto themselves.

I can see some loan moves being done with the option/obligation to pay in a year's time, possibly at a premium to sweeten the deal.

You’re talking a few hundred thousand difference between JJ and McGinn, Watkins, Luiz, Martinez etc, given the almost complete amortisation of their initial transfer fees.

Yep, obviously there's more to it when you know the ins and outs of it, but as far as speculation about transfers goes, the FFP homegrown angle will be milked dry as they look for something to talk about.
