If Leeds don’t get promotion then Gray, Summerville and to an extent Philips might become viable signings.

He did look impressive but he is 30

He would a great weapon against spurs high line
 Seems to thrive when playing against high lines

I wonder how he’d have been if we’d have had a fully fit team out there, not one that’s running on empty.
That said he certainly looked impressive over the two legs.

He took his goals very well
The one last night a copy of one in the first leg, headed the ball down, shot and scored.
I saw he was 31, not what i think we want for the future, but good player.

We have to be clever this summer. We need 2-3 cheap, consistent performers through key areas to rotate in and out. Liverpool saw it with Milner, that player that can do 7/8 out of 10 and still let the others play. A forward to take the pressure off Ollie, a holding mid for obvious reasons and a right back. All top teams have a few that can just slot into a role and be consistently good at it. With the extra games, the inevitable injuries etc, we need  the numbers, but also a bit of knowhow. Thought Iborra in midfield at 36 for Olympiakos slowed exactly that.
