I don't want to be relying on an eighteen year old and I don't like playing Konsa at right back. Torres and Carlos are both much better with his pace alongside them in the middle. If Cash goes we need to sign two right backs, IMO, even if one is just on loan until Nedeljkovic is ready.

Agree.  I would only really want to see Konsa at RB in emergencies, so think it is a priority we get in at least one new signing in that position.  Someone on here suggested making a new signing, keeping Cash as back up for next season and sending Nedeljkovic on loan in England for a season, with a view to him replacing Cash next summer.
Finances might dictate that we will have to sell Cash this summer if a decent offer comes in though.
I'm seeing a distrust of Nedeljkovic: is this simply a function of his age or do people have evidence of him not being ready for a first team slot? I understood that he was a first-pick and had Champs League experience.

I read in the Athletic he’s considered one for the future, and will be assessed in pre-season to see if he goes out on loan or provides backup.

I think the fact we signed him in January, when we only had one RB, but left him where he was, suggested he wasn't seen as ready for the first team. He then spent most of the period since injured, so it's understandable there'd be some doubt over whether he's progressed any since January. But presumably he'll be brought in and given a fair chance to show where he's at before any decisions are made.

You mean he signed for Villa then immediately got injured !!
No way

Christ, what a dreadful website that is. I gave up halfway through paragraph two after the seventeenth advert popped up.

Lot of talk about Dumfries but also some talk about Raoul Bellanova, who we supposedly try to sign in January.

If we sign Dumfries, for a laugh can we also sign Brendan Galloway?

You need to be dogged like a muskehound to wade through such challenges.

Exactly. That site has nothing on the villainous Richelieu.

Along with Ross (Barkley), we'd really be cleaning up on footballers with Scottish counties in their names.

Dunno if that's a great idea after that season we attempted to build a concept team with all of the players called Jordan, though.

Think we're fine with county names, as Dublin and Tyrone were good signings. Just avoid players named after countries, like Ireland and Jordan.

Looks like Hermoso is joining Napoli.
