I have no recollection of ever having heard of Morgan Rogers before we were linked with him in 2024, so my knowledge is news to me! Maybe my account was hacked.

It's probably best that Morgs didn't join in 2021. He had more time to develop elsewhere, instead of suffering the disaster of the Gerard era

I remember him coming on with us 5 up at Brammal Lane for his debut, missed a good chance and I thought in time he might make the grade but he's nowhere near ready.

He didn't really develop though being as Palmer was being sold to Chelsea for £40 mil whilst Rogers was sold for £1mil. I suspect without Emery spotting something and purchasing him, he would have been a Philogene where sometimes he would win matches on his own in the championship, and other times he wasn't even noticeable on the pitch.

He scored a very classy goal at Stamford Bridge for Boro.
