Good F365 write-up

MORGAN ROGERS

Incredible turn led to the first big chance. It was a brilliant first touch; he got the ball out of his feet, passed to Madueke, who spurned the chance. It was an awesome No.10 performance, assisting Madueke’s first England goal. Anderson’s pass into him was flicked first time to put the Arsenal winger in on goal, done so casually, yet bloody brilliantly. He could put Jude Bellingham under some serious pressure next summer.

Barney Ronay is hailing him in the Guardian too.

Let’s hope yesterday kicks him into gear. He did some great stuff last night.
Tuchel played him as a 10, not coming in off the wing ...
... just saying.

I mentioned in the other games thread that they were showing some of his moves in the studio after the game and the part in the second half where he received the ball in Englands third, turned and beat three challenges to run into space had Keane stating "he reminds me of Gazza in his prime".

After last night, he's going to get mentioned in those transfer gossip columns again, just before the weekend game I reckon.

And until the winter, and then the summer if we don't sell him in the winter.  We should get used to the fact now he'll be off.  Think of all that lovely profit and a bit of PSR headroom!  It's what I love about the game.

And, don't forget, it's OK because we 'already have his replacement through the door' in Harvey Elliot.  Ace stuff.

I'd love us to have a kid come on the scene this season, score a few goals and then sell him in the Summer because it's all pure bookable profit. My favourite kind of profit.

The good thing about Asensio not joining.

To be honest - us as supporters need to do more to ensure profits.  Take our songs and chants - really they dont do enough to sell the players.  Rather than "He's one how our own" - maybe we should change it "Would you like to own".

Maybe change the name of the players threads on here - like "Morgan Rogers" should be "A more affordable alternative to Bellingham".  And "Ollie Watkins - We would probably accept 40m for him, less if his agitating for a move"
