So that's why Liverpool were so "nice" to us with the Elliott deal. I assume they've "pre-negotiated" a fee of £20m plus a bevy of other squad players like Endo and their slow Italian fella who's always injured. It's a pity, Elliott partially moved to Villa so he could play with his mate Morgan. I guess that'll happen once Pool activate the buy-back. All angles covered, Scousers are smart.

Sounds like nonsense to me, why would you need a clause to meet our asking price for Rogers? By definition if you meet our asking price we’ll sell clause or not. It’s not saying there’s a lowered price because we signed Elliot.
