lots of young players come in and make an impact then slowly the stats guys figure them out and players know what they're going to do. You could understand having quiet game agaainst elite defenders but against brentford the likes of nathan collins and you can't get any change out of them not to mention no desire to try and win it back after you've lost it cheaply.

PFA Very Young Player of the Year? Today he played like a twelve year old.

£80M would be good at this rate.

Yes, he’s aiming to win it at different age groups.

He is also a young player, who has played a lot of football and is obviously going through a tough spell.

Maybe he needs some time on the bench, but considering he has just had a summer off I can’t imagine it is anything more than a dip in from.
A dip in form that began in February.

He’s had a tough start, but there is nothing in the structure supporting attacking plan. It’s not a shock attackers are struggling.

It didn't, though. He was pretty excellent against Brighton, Forest, Newcastle, Fulham, Bournemouth and Tottenham. All those games were in April and May. His dip in form is three games, and nobody would be criticising his performance in the first of those if he had scored the goal that got us into the Champions League, which he likely would have done if the referee wasn't a twat.

£80M would be good at this rate.

If we were able to spend it all on 2 or 3 effective players, yes it would.

No it wouldn’t it would be selling under value after a couple of ropey games - where the entire team was set up wrong.

I do find it quite amusing how irrational some people are. Anyway... I'd sell the PFA Young Player of the Year for half a curly wurly and a packet of love hearts.

I think you're right and that it is our attacking "system" that's fucking us over rather than a particular play being solely at fault.
