Yet often assists or scores anyway.

He will be a marked man this season and I noticed he was frustrated last Saturday when getting nothing from the ref. I hope he doesn't go all whiney like Bellingham

Big endorsement from Unai in him - if the manager trusts you, it must give you masses of confidence. We need a couple more with that type of talent, that can step into the gap when Morgan is having an off day.

That's the big key from here, if Morgan isn't playing well, we need someone else on the pitch that can pull something out the bag. When he's on he's world class, when he's off he's miles off.

Very true and last season I've said more than a few times Rogers is either a genius or a liability. However at least on one occasion, there's probably more, he's been shocking and I couldn't work out what game Unai was watching only for Rogers to turn around and score. West Ham at home springs to mind. One thing I love about him, other than his ball carrying is the way he can seamlessly link up with so many players, him and Duran were amazing together, immediately on the same wavelength as Asensio and the amount of goals he set up for Watkins, he really is a great talent and there's still plenty of room to improve.

I think it's just a question of time and experience but he needs to read the whole game a bit better in terms of when to be audacious and when we could actually do with keeping hold of the ball for a bit of respite.

My biggest concern with him was that his finishing could be a bit off but I suspect he's aware and had been working on it over the summer because both of his pre-season goals were finishes that he just wouldn't have managed last year.

If that is sorted I honestly think he'll be looking at 25-30 'goal involvements' this year.

Sky Sports News have spun it to suggest he's issued a come and get me plea, i guess they constantly need content to dissect.

They've taken the only bit that matters to them. The "I can't predict the next 12 months or anything in the future" bit to mean he's off. Wankers.

Yep completely missed out Rogers opening gambit of ‘I’m happy at Villa’. Its tedious. And Spurs can fuck off as well, Ill never tire of saying that.

I’m sure he’ll go at some point, but if/when he does it won’t be to fucking Spurs.

I would’ve said that too, but we’ve just sold JJ to Newcastle so you never know.

Yes but we'll be looking for double or more for Rogers if he has another good season and clubs start sniffing around. Spurs don't tend to spend that amount on one player.

I want the 2024 Morgan Rogers back. The 2025 model is fucked.

He’s been cack for most of this calendar year - Not just today. Needs dropping as he’s a liability at the moment.

He is also a young player, who has played a lot of football and is obviously going through a tough spell.

Maybe he needs some time on the bench, but considering he has just had a summer off I can’t imagine it is anything more than a dip in from.

8 months is more than a dip in form. Not been at the races for most of this year.

God, I want him to recover that form from when he joined but he’s not been anywhere close to that literally for the whole of this year!
