Just been announced on SKY that if we get to the final, we get 9,000 tickets - it will be interesting to see what sales criteria will be for the final (if we get there)

9,000 from 32,500 capacity. 18,000 to clubs' fans, the remaining 14,500 seems excessive but no surprise for UEFA sponsors.

I reckon there have been about 2,500 to 3,000 who’ve been to a European away so they’ll all get one, then it’ll be the usual STHs who’ve attended all the European home ties in a ballot for the remaining 6-6.5k.

If you haven’t been to a Euro away I’d strongly recommend the semi away leg if we get there as it gets you an away on your reference which virtually guarantees a final ticket. I suppose it depends if you can afford it.

Earlier indication I read were about 7.5-8k so this is actually a pleasant surprise!!

I've applied as well. But have done 3 European Aways. Lille will be the 4th. I've applied for a ticket regardless of Villa making the final because we've booked a family holiday to Athens for the week with the kids.

The French league really are helping lille no games for them inbetween both games while we have to go to arsenal sunday. Couls you evee see PL doing that for a english side? No chance

Well how exactly would that help us? We'd have to play that game at some stage before the end of the competition anyway!

Yes exactly and Lille also have to play their games in the season as scheduled. Al that’s being done is that teams playing on Thursday can play their League game a day earlier or later. Their domestic games don’t just disappear.
