Unai could pick Chambers up front and I wouldn't question it. FTF!

Agree with the Konsa/Cash concerns, and Carlos still far from convincing.

The worst thing about Konsa at RB is the thought that we might not be planning on buying one in January.

I suppose it's possible Emery is exhausting all options before the window opens, but based on the times he's played there before, we still definitely need a new RB option.

What has Cash done wrong exactly. I can’t understand how Emery can look at the last performance and think that that defence isn’t a problem.

Indeed. Maybe tonight is the night it finally clicks.* Everywhere else is great. Midfield looks fine, if Bailey goes missing we have Diaby on the bench. Also the threat down the left of Moreno should we need him.

In Emery I trust .
Let's play as we can!
Douglas Luiz and McGinn masterclass!
Watkins for a brace !
Let's go Villa!

It could well just be a case of managing his load though as we have no other cover for rb and we can't expect him to play constantly

Isn't Cash on 4 yellows, one more and a suspension? Maybe he's making sure that he's available for Arsenal over the weekend.

Must say I have been thinking that Cash has been getting ropier and ropier, especially on the ball in midfield areas. Not that last week was any better at all.

I'm not sure Arsenal are any more or less beatable than Man City at the moment, so it won't be that.  It might be saving Cash to line up against Martinelli though.

Whatever you say, Unai is certainly 'connecting with the fans' with his selection.

If you don’t play your strongest team for this occasion when would you. ?
