I don't think the dehumanising of fans by fans is what leads assorted hateful morons to chuck bricks at the *players'* buses.
You have a higher opinion on these assorted hateful morons than I do, then. I'm not sure such folk would make a distinction between a club's players & supporters. To be honest, thinking back to a 16 year old me, I don't think I would've made a distinction either. (Not that I've ever been likely to throw bricks at anything)

What is it about morons today that they think filming their law breaking and sticking it on publicly available social media is a good idea? these people walk amongst us.

They’re monumentally stupid enough to throw bricks at a bus, they’re stupid enough to boast about it on social media, I reckon.

Brexit 1-3 Villa

Birmingham voted Leave, so technically it’s Brexit 1 - Brexit 3.

Technically but while 50.4% voted leave in Birmingham it was 66.6% in Burnley.

28,854 votes for leave in Burnley while 227,351 people voted leave in Birmingham, if we’re quoting numbers!

I don’t like that Birmingham voted to leave but the city did and we shouldn’t preach to others when we’ve done the same!

That's because there are more people in Birmingham.  Birmingham narrowly voted leave, Burnley decisively did.

The only positive thing about Brexit in Burnley is that it distracted them from loving the BNP so much.

Yeah, and they only flew that “White Lives Matter” banner over Turf Moor once.

Jesus, I'd forgotten about that. What sort of c**t do you have to be to think that's a good idea?

My old man has never said be a city fan and I've never told him bollocks, he's a ******. Maybe it's just a bit fun and a bit silly and a bit odd and that's exactly what Britain is.

My old man, who is a Blues fan, really did say be a city fan. So I can sing that with real truth.

However, I was about five at the time, so did not reply my telling him bollocks, you're a ******. I probably just laughed in his face.

I reckon that hurt more.
That is exactly the same as my situation.

My pops was Small Heath & two of my brothers are Small Heath.

But they were all born on the Small Heath side of the city.

I was born in Villa territory cos they moved before I was conceived.

A massive sliding doors moment...

That is a touch of luck, imagine if they hadn't moved and you too were a City fan you'd probably be on Small Heath Alliance signing in under the name Rolf Harris.

Clearly not a great idea and likely has racist motives as you're implying.

But I wouldn't be so quick to wholly condemn those who feel they have been badly let down by all parties including Corbyn's version of the Labour Party in a post industrial/post Thatcher Britain.

However, whilst the overall figure varies a lot, there were still quite a few wards in Birmingham where over 2/3 of the electorate voted to leave and those numbers were higher than Burnley's overall figure. So I guess it all depends on which way you analyse.

I don't have many problems with condemning people who spent 10 years being shat on by tory austerity and decided that it was down to them "forrins" and the solution was to back the tories more.

What should they do now then?
