You have a higher opinion on these assorted hateful morons than I do, then. I'm not sure such folk would make a distinction between a club's players & supporters. To be honest, thinking back to a 16 year old me, I don't think I would've made a distinction either. (Not that I've ever been likely to throw bricks at anything)

Birmingham voted Leave, so technically it’s Brexit 1 - Brexit 3.

Technically but while 50.4% voted leave in Birmingham it was 66.6% in Burnley.

28,854 votes for leave in Burnley while 227,351 people voted leave in Birmingham, if we’re quoting numbers!

I don’t like that Birmingham voted to leave but the city did and we shouldn’t preach to others when we’ve done the same!

My old man, who is a Blues fan, really did say be a city fan. So I can sing that with real truth.

But I wouldn't be so quick to wholly condemn those who feel they have been badly let down by all parties including Corbyn's version of the Labour Party in a post industrial/post Thatcher Britain.

However, whilst the overall figure varies a lot, there were still quite a few wards in Birmingham where over 2/3 of the electorate voted to leave and those numbers were higher than Burnley's overall figure. So I guess it all depends on which way you analyse.
