No. It seems both clubs weren’t told about his injury. So we might have inquired when he was having the medical at Everton and the injury was revealed.

"Revealed"?

Stick "Jack Harrison injury" into Google and lots of sites have been saying for several weeks that he's injured. The Leeds manager has been updating the press on his injury.

I don't think it's a secret.

My point being how does he get to the medical table at Everton. Even if you don’t believe the Villa bit though a bit of that might have some truth to it, how do the Everton team not just use Google?

Imagine when he lines up against us next Sunday.

He won’t though will he.

He might have had wheels fitted by then.

Romano is the Gary Lineker of football news. Reliable as he's usually there for the tap in after someone else has done the hard work, but occasionally shits himself or lobs a penalty straight at the keeper.

What's happened to the Jack Harrison thread and has Toronto been sacked?

I think he’s been pretty solid and reliable for the most part. But he’s announcing everything now. It’s got to the point where instead doing the sure thing, and sticking the penalty into the bottom corner he’s trying top corner efforts and ballooning them or Panenka’s and lobbing them into the keepers arms.

That wasn’t Toronto. My account was hacked by the Footy Villa conglomerate

I suspect it's because the medical will have revealed in more detail how long it is until he will be fit again.

I don't know what Everton are at but we did apparently have Harrison on our list earlier in the window, and had approached him in some capacity.  So it's possible we had moved on and stopped paying attention to him entirely and then his name pops up in conversation after the last 3 days we've had, and we're told he's about to sign for Everton, so we rush in to stop it before anyone's had a chance to check if he's even fit.

I dunno... I just can't really see two clubs fighting over a player who can't even play, but then two clubs fighting over a player they don't know that basic fact about seems even stranger.

The medical was a surveyor's report. If we'd have bought him knowing what it said it would have been a case of buyer's remorse. Everton obviously feel they can live with it.

That’s likely what happened. I don’t think the extent of the injury would have been obvious based on what was public info.

In any case we’re clearly still looking at a wide player.

Apparently he injured so villa might be pulling out of this one

Amateurish from Emery and the club if they didn't know this beforehand.

Not half as amateurish as knowing he is injured now and still signing him.
