There's no evidence we're actually interested, and even less that we are and didn't know what everyone apart from Romano already knew. So no. it's not remotely amateurish is it.

No. It seems both clubs weren’t told about his injury. So we might have inquired when he was having the medical at Everton and the injury was revealed. We then backed off. It’s possible Harrison’s people leaked the news to the likes of Romano.

Stick "Jack Harrison injury" into Google and lots of sites have been saying for several weeks that he's injured. The Leeds manager has been updating the press on his injury.

There’s absolutely zero chance both the clubs didn’t know he was injured. About eight people on this thread alone said ‘but he’s injured’.

Looks like the medical will have revealed the extent of his injury and we dropped out.

It would have been a bit odd to buy in a pre-injured player (yea yes yes Downing before someone says it)

Asked later about Greenwood, Harrison and firstly Adams, Farke said of Adams: “ He has improved after we spoke the last time, two weeks ago. I think Tyler's hopefully not too far away from returning back to team training. With Jack, it will last perhaps even a bit longer. I spoke about it, I just expect them to be really in the mix of competitive games after the international break.

“Hopefully Tyler can return earlier and get back to team training but he was out for such a long time. He needs also bits of training. It's not like, ‘okay, he’s back into training and then just after six hours he can play the first competitive game’. He needs a few days of training.

"It will be the same as Jack so I expect them just to be really in the mix after the first international break. Sam Greenwood is more or less the same, so much improved. I hope he's back in training in a couple of weeks. I would say he is in the final stages of his rehab.”

TBF the leak came from the Everton camp. I suspect we had a dabble then realised the extent of the injury (hip, l believe). Comes across as a bit silly, as his injury is common knowledge…perhaps we thought it was minor? oh well
