The player looks like he’s been on glue

He does look a bit weather-beaten for a 24 year old.

He’s had his head in a brown bag a few times

Haha yeh. And the brown bag reference. I’m guessing the kids and addicts have moved on to other things since!!

Am I the first to suggest that Doku sounds like a player you could Count on..?

I got hauled into the headmaster’s office around 1980 accused of the aforementioned crime in the wild streets of Aston!😁

I’m still haunted by the Juliet Bravo episode about glue sniffers.

Interesting part in Emery's press conference where he mentioned playing with 3 centre backs on occasion.

Be some meltdown on here if that happens

He has earned the right to be trusted to do as he sees fit. He could play 6 centre backs, 4 wingers  and a rush back keeper as far as I’m concerned.
Apart from playing Olsen

He might do better at Centre back.

Out of curiosity what happened to all the Guendouzi rumours? Seemed nailed on her be rejoining Emery. Gone very quiet on that one.

Think the Star Wars reference has already been made, along with his mother being named Sue.

Did he? I seem to recall the only two facts that we know are that he likes Emery as a manager, and that we didn't try to buy him in January.

A lot of people decided that meant that we definitely were going to sign him in the summer instead, when it's perfectly possible that we never had any real interest in him at all.

Maybe signing Tielemans meant we no longer wanted Guendozi (if we ever was in for him)

We've only signed one forward; I don't think we're done.

We are not done. 2-3 more in. Loans to depart and some exits on permanent - likes of Sanson, Davis, Traore

Are the 2-3 more squad fillers or first team players?

You have to think RB starter quality, one more wide man/forward type, and back up keeper at least.

Yep.  Those three in and we're sorted.  I imagine that the forward will be the next deal done.

I think Dendonker will go and we'll bring in a DM that makes it questionable whether Kamara is the first choice DM. Just a suspicion with the amount of links I've seen over the summer.

I don't think there will be many questions on whether Kamara is starting, his calmness on the ball is perfect for the possession football we're beginning to play. Admittedly he did fuck up a couple of times but I don't think he was fully fit.
