There’s a certain irony that Al Nassr’s coach use to play for a team we now own (sorry part own given we had to give up a stake to lease the UEFA twats.  You really couldn’t make any of this up!

Increasingly looking like he’s chosen us. All hail Emery and Monchi.

INFO - Entre Al-Nassr et l’Angleterre, Moussa Diaby a tranché ! L’international français va s’engager pour les 5 prochaines années avec Aston Villa. #Mercato

Fingers crossed. What a fucking boost this will be for us if he has indeed chosen us.

Tielemans, Torres and Diaby is very much the definition of quality over quantity.

Even if we stopped there, I'd consider that a decent window. Keeper notwithstanding, obviously. Add another forward and right-back too and it's probably up there with our best ever.

Is Diaby really quality? I say this because prior to our interest in him no one was talking about him either on here or elsewhere in the media.

Hopefully we’ll find out…but if our coach sees something to improve our team I’d back him.

Yes they were. There have been reports linking him to all of Man Utd, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and many others in the last six months or so.

Most reports are obviously nonsense. But the nonsense reports were suggesting he'd be signing for a club higher up the food chain than us.

Averages a goal or assist every other game over his career so generally good stats. considering where he's played.

Yeah a decent back up keeper is a must, right back and another forward should be secured as well really but things looking good.
