Seems like the sort of player that would massively impact squad harmony. No thanks.

Didn’t he kick off at Bayern as well?

Last thing we need at Villa is people banging on about 'Cancelo culture'.

I know but I want more Risso!
We all want more Risso. That’s why we spend so much time on here.

I really hope we get Ferran Torres

Assuming Pau comes in, I love the shape the team is taking.

Pau Torres passing from the back in to the intricacy and agility of the likes of Moreno/Ramsey/Tielemans down the left-hand side of the pitch will create lots of space for Ollie and a new right-sided attacker. Ferran Torres has pace and goals, he could be a 10+ goal man for us.

It might be worth it to take him on loan with an option to buy. He didn't do much at Man City and he sat on the bench mostly at Barcelona.

He always looked a good player to me when I saw him play for Citeh, fast and direct. Like Leroy Sane, was a bit surprised they let him go

Talk of us being in for Gnonto.

I think he has bags of potential and could be a great signing.

He looked great for the first half of the season for Leeds. 2nd half, hit and miss mostly and towards the end of the season his form meant he didn’t get a start. There’s a very good player there in the right set up.

I worry he's the new Adama Traore.

Romano saying we’re looking to move Dendonkar on, who Emery rates but considers that we already have a lot of competition there.

Personally, I think Dendonkar is different to most of the others and if we are looking to move him on it’ll be in view of signing someone else, I’d hope a similar but quicker and more mobile version. I guess we’ll see.

I think all wingers risk ending up like Traore, which is basically a lack of consistent end product. The pace and the tricks are great, but unless is consistently leads to goals and assists, it's just a big tease.

I was saying the same the other day about Madueke for the U21s, he looks great, but at the end of the day he will be judged by whether or not he starts consistently getting the end results.

Gnonto could very well go the way of Traore, who in his best season in the PL (2019/20 when Wolves finished 7th) got a goal contribution every 200 minutes. Last season Gnonto got one every 225 minutes. Neither has probably ever been in a Premier League team suited to making best use of them, with the exception of 19/20 when Wolves finished 7th, and even then they only averaged 1.3 goals a game.

For the touted price of 20m EURO, Gnonto is going to be a good gamble for someone if they can help him continue his development.

I agree.

It'd be harsh to criticise any player for tailing off given the enormous juggernaut-towards-cliff which was Leeds' season.

GK Martinez/ Olsen
RB Cash /Konsa/Chambers
LB Moreno /Digne
CB Mings / Konsa /Carlos / Torres
DM Kamara / Luiz / Iroegbunam
CM McGinn / Ramsey J. / Tielemans
AM Buendia / Bailey / Coutinho / Ramsey A.
FW Watkins / Duran /Archer

Definitely need attacking options in a centre forward and width with pace too.

If we move Dendoncker on, I think it's more likely because they see Iroegbunam as being ready enough to be part of the squad - if we sell him and buy a replacement, it starts to become hard to see how the latter has a path into the first team.
